Anyone else as behind with their christmas gifting this year as ever? I started black Friday weekend felt really organised then didn’t do much and now I’m back to the usual chaotic late night searches for the perfect gifts that I seem to end up with every year. If you’re still hunting down perfect gifts I wrote a little guide that may help. I’ve also left sourcing wrapping paper to the last minute too, there are so many beautiful designs to choose from and I love to go with a different colour scheme each year but the one thing that is non negotiable is that the paper is recycled. Kraft Christmas wrapping paper is available from most high street stores and makes wrapping presents only for the paper to be ripped off and thrown away a week later a little more bearable. Here’s a little selection of my favourite recycled gift wrap designs available this year:
This gorgeous snowflake design from John Lewis seemed like the perfect design to begin with since it perfectly reflects the UK weather as I’m writing this post.
Sainsburys have nailed it this year with their range of recycled Christmas gift wrap, I’m swaying towards this spotty design (also available in red spots).
This white kraft paper with copper, white and silver stars is lovely if you’d like a more subtle, contemporary theme this year. This is also from Sainsburys and all 3 are in the ‘3 for 2’ offer.
How much fun is this cactus and fairy lights design by Paperchase? I wonder if I could get away with papering a wall in it for Christmas!?
This glitter damask design adds a little elegance beneath the tree if you don’t want your wrapping paper to clash with a more traditional interior design scheme.
I LOVE a bit of neon and our neon pink twine is my ‘go to’ for most gift wrapping situations throughout the year. This cool Paperchase design doesn’t need anything else to make a statement when delivering gifts this year.
One for the typography fans (let’s be honest that’s all of us right?) is this red Merry Christmas design also by Paperchase, it looks ace with the large spotty kraft bow on top. Also worth mentioning that all of the Paperchase designs are in their ‘3 for 2’ offer.
TKMAXX have a great range of kraft gift wrap designs in store too, I’ve checked and non are currently available online but it’s worth keeping checking back as they update stock regularly.
These pretty bauble tags come with added ‘feel good’ factor as they’re available to purchase from Oxfam. I’ll be purchasing some for sure as I never seem to have enough tags, anyone else have that issue??
*Everything featured above is in stock at the time of the post being published however I do know stock is selling out fast so get your order in soon to avoid any disappointment.
Merry 2 weeks to Christmas!
