We are having a really slow Christmas this year here at Little Mill House, I know the jury is out on whether small Christmas gatherings are festive enough but we’re really looking forward to it. Our weekends in December have been filled with magical visits to Santa, sunday lunches in cosy pubs and carol services then once Christmas comes around it will be small gatherings full of food and wine with our closest family and friends, we’re hoping by keeping it small that we will be able to soak up all the magic that comes with having a two-year-old toddler at Christmas (and hopefully keep a routine going so 2018 doesn’t start with nap refusals and bedtime meltdowns!). I’ll let you know (likely via Twitter) how that works out for us, speaking of social media I’m also planning on having some down time from our social accounts. It’s enjoyable but quite intense and I feel like Christmas is a good time to take a breather from it and live fully in the moment, I doubt I’ll manage a total blackout but I’m going to try my hardest to use it at the very minimum this christmas week, is anyone else planning a social media hiatus?
