Sustainable Christmas Gifting

Being mindful when shopping is hardest at this time of year (especially with Black Friday deals coming at us left-right & centre) and it can be tricky to get the balance right when wanting to enjoy Christmas & all of it’s traditions whilst being conscious of the impact we are having on our planet.

This years Christmas gift guide is a relatively short one with some handpicked items that I hope satisfy our need to buy traditional stocking fillers without ending up in landfill or the back of a cupboard unused.

So here it is, a little list of guilt free gifts including some experiences at the bottom too:

First up is this sleek jewellery stand with palm tree detail. This gift is made extra special as it’s made from recycled brass. Available from Amara.

I SO wish that you could smell the next product…this body scrub by Tam Mason is made using entirely natural ingredients & comes in a reusable kilner jar with a sweet little wooden spoon. Available from Tam Mason.

As a gift for a keen plant lover or host this Christmas I love the idea of gifting a festive plant (like this Poinsettia) in a seasonal planter as an extra touch. Mistletoe planter by Ivyline.

If, like me your looking at gifting some experience based presents this year how about a National Trust membership, day ticket to a local attraction or a a hamper filled with fair trade goodies like coffee, chocolate & wine. I’ve currently got a family ticket to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in my shopping basket with their 15% off discount for Black Friday!

I hope you’ve found this guide inspiring, if you’d like some more festive inspo check out my sustainable Christmas moodboard that I’m looking forward to implementing this weekend.

The beautiful gift wrap is made from recycled paper and is even more amazing close up, available from Curlicue
