Rustic Halloween Decor

The second birthday cards and balloons have all gone now which means I can go all out with Halloween decor. I say ‘all out’ very loosely as it’s much more of an autumn, pumpkin with an added spider here or there look than life size skeletons and creepy faces (nothing at all wrong with the latter I just have way too much stuff in my house for those things to look good). This year I’ve gone for a mix of reclaimed wood, paper decorations (from Poundland, the have some ace Halloween decs in this year) and natural twigs sprayed black and orange. As we’ve only recently restyled the living room for Autumn I wanted to add Halloween to LMH (because it’s fun right?) without loosing the cosy, rustic vibe we’d created.

Whist the decor is subtle our plans certainly aren’t, we’re going pumpkin picking and to a Halloween experience next week and are SO excited to take the toddler trick or treating for the first time (found him the cutest pumpkin outfit in Aldi). What are your plans this Halloween?
