This week is National Recycling Week – which LMH couldn’t let pass by (for obvious reasons). This years theme is ‘Recycling, it’s worth it’ and it really is! Here are my favourite recycled elements in each room of LMH:
Kitchen
The reclaimed scaffold board kitchen shelfs have added so much character to the space and cost next to nothing. Open kitchen shelving gives you the freedom to change the look of your kitchen easily, simply by restyling them.
Dining Area (not strictly another room I know)
Our rustic door dining table makes stylish dining effortless, it looks relaxed and comfortable which is a vibe I love to create throughout the home…and on the occasions we fancy something a little more formal I just add a linen tablecloth!
Master Bedroom
A recycled singer sewing machine base with a OSB offcut have made me the perfect industrial bedside table, I’ve added a little luxury with the antique decanter lamp and mirrored photo frame.
Living Room
Probably my most loved item in LMH is the ladder gallery shelf in the living room, full of family photos and things that make me smile. It stretches the full width of the room making a bold statement.
Nursery
The reclaimed wood chest of drawers in Jaspers bedroom adds a modern rustic edge to an otherwise calm and peaceful nursery, filled with grey and pastel coloured accessories.
So there you go…what’s your favourite recycled item in your home and I’ll bet it was worth it?!
