Anyone else tell themselves they’re really not fussed about Glastonbury tickets throughout the year then when it arrives get major FOMO? Yep, that’s me…every single year! I’m attempting to beat this years jealousy with a little Glastonbury inspired edit of interiors and a Glastonbury themed evening in front of the highlights.
First up for the music inspired interiors has to be Rock Terrace who make some amazing furniture and home accessories out of upcycled drum kits. Their pieces are used at Glastonbury itself backstage and you can purchase the exact pieces the headliners may have sat on! You can shop their collection here.
Record covers are far too cool to be stashed away in a shelving unit, I’ve currently got a couple at home on display but this image from Urban Outfitters ups the stakes for record cover displays. I love how framing them makes such a stylish gallery wall.
‘You rock my world’ has been one of my favourite music quotes for a long time thanks to the legend Michael Jackson (I’m a huge fan). This vintage playing card artwork is a cool stand alone piece or would work in a gallery wall setting equally well.
For an unexpected take on wall art why not simply hang musical instruments on the wall instead of hiding them away in cases or cupboards. I love this guitar wall featured in one of my favourite instagrammers homes (if you don’t already follow Angie you need to, her home is full of fun).
No music inspired interiors blog post would be complete without a sheet music wall, there are so many beautiful examples out there but I particularly love the one below enhanced by the cool music note fairground light.
How have you added a musical influence to your home decor? I’d love to see…you’ll find me sat on a blanket in front of the T.V. with my wellies on and some street food until the end of Sunday.

A fab post!! I love the idea of the record sleeves in frames and the music sheets 😍
Thanks Katy, framing the record covers is definitely one I’ll be adding at home!
