Holiday Let Spain – Interior Design Project

This Spanish townhouse on the Southern coast of Spain has been a holiday rental for some years but was in major need of some updating. I used the traditional base of marble, terracotta and white paint to build a tropical rustic vibe for the house that perfectly suits its 5 minute walk proximity to the beach. The property is around 15 years old with a lovely private back yard that wasn’t being used to it’s full potential & 3 bedrooms. The majority of the interior design work & planning was done remotely via my E-Design service, with the final install being the only time I was onsite (a 3 day turnaround for a 3 bed house was more of a challenge than any design show I’ve worked at, including Grand Designs Live!).

The house needed to feel fresh, clean and stylish…everything you’d need from a Spanish house by the sea. It also needed to function for families and group trips as it has the 3 bedrooms. I decided to go for a boho, natural look with lots of tropical touches to add colour. The layered natural textures add interest without feeling cluttered or overpowering. I kept the natural textures and green accents flowing up through the house with additional accent colours used in the bedrooms and bathrooms.

Below are some before and after photos of project Spanish rental property, I’ve you’d like to chat about working together on an interior design project then feel free to email me at natalie@littlemillhouse.co.uk or read about my E-Design service here.
