Happy Halloween MUAHAHAHAHAHA (that’s my scary laugh incase you wondered).
What have you got planned this halloween weekend? A halloween party? Sitting in the dark avoiding trick or treaters? Whatever you’ve got planned you need to include this devilish delight in your plans. I pinched this cocktail recipe from the talented guys who make our bestseller the Mason Shaker‘s blog, it was far too tasty to not share.
The RedRum
makes two drinks
2 Shots Aged Rum
1 Shot Fresh Lemon Juice
1 Shot Simple Syrup (1:1 sugar and water)
1 Shot Red Wine
2 Sticks of Cinnamon (and 2 for garnish)
1) Combine Aged Rum, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup and two sticks of Cinnamon in the Mason Shaker.
2) Add ice, cap and shake for 10 seconds.
3) Strain into two rocks glasses containing ice.
4) Gently pour Red Wine over the back of a bar spoon to create a float on each of the cocktails (I’m not great at this part, it still tastes great though). Garnish with remaining cinnamon sticks.
