Upcycled Fashion

We’ve been upcycling within the interiors sector for some time now and the trend to repurpose just keeps on growing. I’ve worn vintage since I started buying my own clothes & have customised endless pieces to make them more unique but recycling in fashion seems to be getting much more sleek and sophisticated and I’m loving it!

Emma Watson looked incredible at this years Met Gala wearing a Calvin Klein piece made from recycled plastic bottles.

At the top of my list to Santa this year is a Laurie Lee leather jacket! A standard vintage leather jacket is made amazing by the hand painted slogans and images. This one is my favourite but is currently out of stock (fingers crossed it’s back in time for Santa).

Deborah Campbell Atelier is another wish list brand of mine. Many of the collection pieces use recycled elements, my favourite is this stunning upcycled leather skirt. It’s the perfect autumn/winter piece.

Sweatshirts are my go to at the moment & this one from Masato London is perfect for cosy weekends, it’s made from organic, recycled cotton which makes it a must have in my book!

I’d love to know of any more designers championing recycled materials, my aim is to build up my collection as much as possible (with Santa’s help).
