Inspiring Interiors – Rustic

This is the first of our new monthly post series on inspiring trends that upcycled design elements fit into easily. This month we’re sharing our favourite rustic interior design schemes, some are residential and some commercial but they all have elements that can be replicated easily in any home.

This kitchen is probably one of the most rustic I’ve seen. It could easily feel cold but the use of reclaimed timber for the cupboard doors gives it all the warmth it needs. What a great take on a country classic, using an old pallet as a plate rack.

How inviting does this booth look? This is in a restaurant but could be recreated in a kitchen diner easily. Once again it’s all about reclaimed wood!

I’m a huge fan of the sliding barn door trend and this is the best I’ve come across, using an antique decorative door is a super stylish way to create an instant rustic look.

These bedroom designs are very different but I think you’ll agree equally beautiful. The driftwood bed in the first pic is an instant calmer and the moody wood wall in the second image makes me want to curl up with a good book.

Share your favourite rustic interiors, we’d love a nosey!
