Cocktails and Lighting Workshops Perfect Friday

Last Friday I was invited along to a Factorylux lighting workshop in the back of their amazing new pop up van. The van was parked up at ‘Moregeous Mansions’ in Manchester which meant we got a sneaky peek at the nearly complete renovation, the sneak peek included gin cocktails and cake which topped the afternoon off perfectly.

The Factorylux van contains everything needed to build your own light and even enjoy a brew whilst doing so!

There was some serious lighting inspiration in every corner too.

The workshop in the van fit 5 of us in comfortably, with Sophie from Factorylux there explaining/helping/double checking our work. I can very proudly say my little light passed all of Factorylux‘s safety checks.

And I have proof, here’s my finished light looking grand at home lighting up our ladder shelf.

After the workshop we we’re greeted by the lovely Sian from Moregeous (follow her Instagram and Twitter if don’t already, you’ll love her) and given a tour around her amazing renovation project. It’s going to be one of the coolest pop up spaces in the north for sure, there are even home grown (yes in Manchester) lemons here.

Great that you enjoyed your nosey round Moregeous Mansions, we can’t wait till it’s finished either and are working very VERY hard to make that happen. See you again soon, Sian xx
