Barker And Stonehouse Picks

Furniture giant Barker and Stonehouse has been quietly selling reclaimed furniture ranges for some time now, proving there is space in the mainstream for recycled, stylish homeware. Their ranges of reclaimed wood furniture and recycled glass accessories seem to grow every season & spring 2017 is no exception. I’ve decided to put together a little wish list from their latest range, some of which are a dream for when I have a big open plan living space & others I may just click order on as I’m researching…

AKENSIDESALO_1_ZoomFirst up is the amazing AIKEN parquet effect sideboard (on my dream list as there’s no space in Little Mill House for a sideboard…I’ve tried!). It’s made from reclaimed oak and raw effect steel, oh the table decor and glassware you could house in a sideboard…

SANQUENTIN-DINING_1_Large

The SAN QUENTIN dining table has been on the dream list for quite some time paired with a set of infamous Philippe Starck Ghost Chairs. The table is made from reclaimed pine and is available in square or rectangle.

A little more of the winning reclaimed wood/metal combo in the form of the HOBOKEN reclaimed pine and rustic black metal shelf. I love how the box shelves frame your ‘shelfie’ perfectly, you can create stand out vignettes on every shelf with minimal effort. The way it casually leans against the wall gives such a laid back vibe to the space it sits in. (Completely talking myself into ordering this, can you tell?)

CHARLIE-HIGHBEDFRAME_15_Large

The CHARLIE bedroom range ethically made from reclaimed wood’s rustic loveliness gives an instant warm, cosy feel to the bedroom (how gorgeous is Barker & Stonehouse’s styling in this image?). There’s a whole bedroom set available in a choice of sizes but my personal favourites are the high ended bed (above) & the bedside table.

How cool is this hexagon side table/storage unit? The MARY ROSE HEXAGON is handmade from reclaimed timber with worn paint markings adding to it’s unique look. It’s perfect for toy storage if your living space is multi use (as mine is) or could be used as a planter to bring in some of 2017’s greenery trend.
